Is God Real and if He is, how can I know?

First a few questions we should ask ourselves, “What do I really believe about life and eventually my death?”

Next, is there a heaven or hell?

If there is a heaven or hell and I died today, where would I go? And why?

If what you believe in is not true, wouldn’t you want to know? if so, continue below.

Consider what the Bible says and reflect on each of the following verses by asking yourself what each passage means. This part is incredibly important since God is revealing His words to humanity (excerpts from the Bible). Resist continuing without answering each subsequent question.

• For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (What does this passage say to you?).  
• For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (What does this passage say to you about eternal life?).
• Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (What was Jesus saying?).
• Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (What does this passage say about seeing God?).
• If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (What does this passage say to you?).
• Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me (What does this passage say to you?).

Hopefully you’ve considered what each of the passages have to say about Jesus Christ and Eternity. Here are a few follow up questions if any of the passages spoke to you:

• Are you perfect or are you a sinner?
• If you realize you’re a sinner, do you want forgiveness for your sins?
• Do you believe Jesus Christ died on the cross for you and rose again from the dead?
• Are you willing to surrender yourself to Jesus Christ?
• Are you ready to invite Jesus Christ into your heart and into your life?
  • If not-why not?  Bear in mind, God honors your decision even if you reject Him. Conversely, God won’t change your decision upon death, you will be lost for all eternity. Amazingly, God has bridged the gap to heaven and He’s allowing you to decide where you’ll spend eternity.
  • If your answer is “Yes” then you’re going to make the most important decision of your life. Here’s what God says you’re to do. You’re to let God know that you believe in your heart, and you confess with your mouth (prayer) that Jesus is His Son, that you believe He died for all your sins, that you believe He rose again and that you repent of your sins, He declares If you pray that to Him He will not only forgive you, but He will make you His child.
